Peyton Manning's many many fans must have had a heart-pause as he was checked out on the field for a concussion. He was cleared, and was up and at 'em without further ado. But the possibility of concussion haunts the game, not least of all the National Football League's players. There are wildwest psychos who seem to love concussing the quarterback of the opposing team, not saying that was true of this misadventure. Let's keep an eye on Peyton and the other stalwarts who become targets, sometimes, of mad bad asses.
