In my humble opinion (one who accompanies women's volleyball since 2004 - Athens):

The game today was amazing! The other girls were warriors and were able to manage the pressure-saving six match points against a team totally cool, you have quality in attack / block, current bicampeãs world (over the two opportunities in Brazil), which are used to playing and winning tie breaks and you have a player called Gamova of 2.02 m that unbalances the game.

Brazil is known in the women's volleyball, for not having a stable emotional and always hinders performance throughout the set. That was proven today in the first set and the tie-break, set in which Brazil won a 13x10 switch balls and needed to win the game on a 15x12 likely.

Once again, the refereeing errors in the tiebreaker favored the Russians, as well as defeats in the finals of the world for 2006 and 2010. The team fell a little, but learned to turn the ball, then that allows the team to have more security on other grounds, is to force more plundering, and you gain confidence in the block and therefore the defense (plea that depends greatly on the block).

Today I would like to highlight some performances:

- Our core team called Thaísa, became very important balls, added good locking points. It's the best player in the league in Brazil, mainly because of the constancy in the attack;

- To my surprise today is the performance of Sheilla, who often turn balls throughout the game, except in very important moments as a tie-break. Sheilla, our opposite - a position responsible for setting the ball in attack, saved no more than five match-points in a row. The amazing thing is that ALL RUSSIAN knew that blocking the ball would go to her, which complicates the job of the attacker. The match was our number 13, the top scorer in Brazil;

- Another highlight was the setter Dani Lins, which had a sensitivity in the distribution of balls, leaving the Brazilian attackers looser pro game. Many questioned the convening of Dani Lins, Ze Roberto shows why it's double Olympic champion;

- Finally, I emphasize the receiving system and defensive with Jaqueline of Brazil (which is not an offensive tip with features, but gave the bill when requested), which Garay with Fernanda, and pass the setter's hand, put balls important in the floor of the court of Russia. Not least, the Brazilian sweeper, which in my opinion should not be in the selection was very good in pass (oddly enough) and made possible defenses against attacks Brazilians.

It's amazing to be able to write that Brazil won the Russian giant and was powerful in the tiebreaker. More amazing still is able to write the part of the final set that put Brazil in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games in London: 21x19 victory in Brazil, a selection discredited, but I could follow the tournament! Congratulations, girls!
